Chassis number needed to order parts - please help!
Not sure if anyone can help out here as it's a bit of a strange request!
Following on from my recent thread about the *** on Ebay that didn't include various parts that he should have with my calipers I've got a problem with getting the right bits that I need.
I've bought 4 pot calipers for my Legacy and I have all the bits needed now including discs/pads/hoses etc except for the pins, springs & antirattle clips that keep the pads held in place.
I rang the local scoob dealer to find out the cost of getting these bits from them and the woman there says she can see a picture of the parts but cannot get more info without a chassis number of a suitable car that the calipers could have come from.
Mine is no use as it's an 89 import legacy so what I need to be able to get these bits is the chassis number from a uk impreza that had the same kind of four pot calipers as standard (dark grey ones with subaru written in pale writing down the side). 99 onwards I think?
If anyone can help and 'lend' me their number so she can look these up properly I'd be really grateful!!!
Thanks
Jim

The d1ckhead I bought them from is just giving me attitude now saying he has no idea what bits I'm on about (despite me sending him a photo! He must be the village idiot). When I find out what these bits cost me I'll complain to paypal and see if I can recoup the difference. Don't care if it's not much it's the point of it.
