Took the plunge, new WRX on the way!!
Finally, after umming & arring over various different cars for the last 6 months (rx8, golf gti, megane 225 etc....) I've put a deposit down on a MY05 WRX from Motorhouse 2000 in Cannock. Went there today, fully intent on going for a WR Blue car, ended up going for black - somehow just looked a bit stealthier if you know what I mean. Had to have alarm / locking wheel nuts to bring upto UK spec + tracker (total rip off as far as I'm concerned - if the car's nicked, I don't want it back!). Pick it up on Thursday. Can't wait!
Sure I'll be posting here on a reg basis!
Cheers

Good luck with your new car - I've only had mine 2 weeks but like has just been said .... it feels addictive.
I usually keep a car for 3-4 years but in the last 2 years have gone through a 330i, S2000 and a CTR + still have a TVR Griffith - the Scooby feels just right compared to the one's I've sold which were all great in their own way but not 100% what I was after. The Scooby seems to scratch just the right bits, if you know what I mean.
Enjoy it!

Sounds like you've got your money on an fresh import that means a few things will have to be address.
If it's a Jap import the car will be mapped for 100 RON and there might not be fog lights. I'm sure theres a few more but I don't know what it is.

No problems if its an EU import (apart from the warranty maybe !!!!).
I chose a black MY05 WRX - looks fantastic when clean but you need to leather it or polish it after every wash.
Other than that - enjoy it
