Rev light, shift light.............?
Please excuse the newbie STi owner question, but what do you people normally set the rev light and buzzer to activate at; ie, to keep the turbo spinning at optimum revs when you change up a gear ?
(I have tried a search on this BTW, but if you enter "rev" with "light", you get a million non-pertinent threads)
Any advice much appreciated.

I have set mine to warn me when I am getting towards 7,000 rpm, but I suppose you can set it to do what you want - have you figured out how to set it?

I have MY04 STi set to go off about 6½k and find that it's not a real issue. You tend to drive the car to the situation, sometimes changing earlier or later depending on conditions and your driving mood.

Thanks for the replies gents.
I`ve had a play today, and I`ve now set it at 6800k, as, although the redline is further up, by the time you`ve reacted to the beep, you`re up around 7 anyway, and it`s time to change up.
