Guys

My MY00 warranty is due to in MARCH 2006, as was wondering what (if anything) should I get specifically checked out at the next service.

So far under the warranty I've had new front windows (due to the usual scratches from the guides) and a replacement MAF sensor (2 months ago).

I'm not sure how well the Scooby dealers try to find faults on warrenty repairs, so maybe investing in an RAC check might be worth your piece of mind. Have someone else check the car for faults and then get them sorted whilst its free

If you ask them I am sure that they would have a good look around the car as they are going to get the warrenty repair work

my front drive shafts needed repacking with grease about 1 month prior to warranty expiration - Adams did it no probs.

An RAC inspection would be a few hundred quid would it not? In any case there would be no guarantees that they'd spot mechanical things that would need attention. IMHO ask your dealer for a thorough examination at the next service. Save the few hundred quid you'd have spent with the RAC and put it toward a warranty extension with Subaru.
