seen plenty of wavey discs on bikes before but never for a car

Either the pads sweep over the cut away bits which means they won't be stopping you while they're in mid air. Or the pads sweep over just the solid bit and the pointy bits stick out beyond the pads which means they do nothing. Either way whats the point?

Had a mate who worked in a performance store. He said they weren't up to much because the had 10 - 15% less surface contact than normal brakes. Makes sense!
