admiral and elephant (and diamond if you are a girl ) are the same company but do sometimes give different quotes.
I am a 28 with a 53 plate wrx, 1 years no claims (had a small crash last year), car is parked on a drive way at night, standard subaru cat 1 alarm, wife on the insurance, fully comp for £970.00 with elephant.

Not 100% sure whether they insure imports, but its worth a surf

Also try Keith Richards Insurance, ask for Gary Moulson (he posts on here in Insurance Thread!). He gives good quotes although the excess is about £500.

When I first got my MY01 WRX a couple of years ago (when I was 23) I was insured with Tesco's and paying about £1000 fully comp. So maybe they'd be worth a try
Now I'm with Greenlight with the same car plus basic exhaust mods and I'm paying about £800 fully comp. Though I am 25 now with full no claims
