Quick Q for those who've fitted their own flaps...
How the hell do you drill into the metal within the wheel arches to fit the front flaps? It's completely solid and I've snapped two metal drill bits without even making a little hole!?

I didn't drill mine at all. The holes were already there and I just screwed the brackets into place. Where did you buy them from?

No problems at all, made sure they were metal drill bits, drilled a small hole first and then used a larger bit. And used lots of underseal and rust protection on the holes I had drilled.

Thanks for the replies. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, as I've not been able to make any impression on the metal with the drill, never mind screwing them in without drilling (!) I've been to the shop and bought some titanium drill bits and will give it another go tomorrow.
BTW, they're the e-bay ones with the metal brackets, as recommended by Craig Mac21 a month or so ago: http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=456129 They seem good quality, and I understand that even with the Scott Lowe ones some drilling is required...
