oh yes she's all mine!!!
well after a sleepless night full of excitment, i picked up my scooby STI this morning and i cant get the grin off my face what a really great feeling, she's a 53 plate wrc blue and my first scooby, its been a long wait but after pressing the the go faster pedal on the way home, its a wait thats been worth it i could'nt be happier
my last car was a civic type-r which i really liked but the subaru is a different league and i'm looking forward to some fun driving.
so now its time to leave the civic forums and spend more time on this ecellent forum, so i would like to say hi to all on here and hope to enjoy and learn a bit more about my subaru, maybe some tips on a few little mods might help me on my way
cheers

Congratulations on the car.
For more power - fit a performance exhaust and get an EcuTek3 remap which will give you over 300bhp.
For better handling - fit Pro-drive or Eibach springs with full geometry and a rear anti roll bar if you want less understeer.

Congrats Trooper! Your in exactly the same boat as i was 3 months ago, straight out of a CTR and into a 03 PPP STi, totally different league aint they! If u aint got PPP on yours i'd highly recommend it. Enjoy it M8 and wait till u boot it out of a roundabout, no more waiting to get on the gas and waiting for the Understeer if u did'nt balance the throttle properly, these things just GRIP and go :-)

Good choice! I picked up my 03 sti ppp a couple of weeks ago, great cars! I would def recommend the ppp if you don't already have it.
Better get used to spending alot of time at your local petrol station! But it's well worth it.
David.

Welcome buddy.
On the mods front I wouldn't do anything for a wee while. Get in it, drive it, learn about the car and then discover for yourself what areas, if any, of the cars performance and dynamics you'd like to enhance.
Have fun mate and congratulations
