Default Will Spacesaver fit with 18" Wheels?

Might sound like abit of a stupid question, but will a space saver fit when I have 18" wheels on?

Yeh, cos the radius is the same. Just your space saver will have a higher side wall.

I wonder if CyprusScooby means if he has changed to 18's ( from say 17's that the car came with ? ) will the car be OK with the space saver wheel?

As long as the rolling radius of each wheel / tyre combination is more or less the same then it will be ok.

If there is a significant difference then it will not do the diffs any good. AFAIK

I Have the standard 16" wheels on at the moment so obviously the space saver will be designed to work with this, but I'm putting some 18" wheels on soon, and the space saver does look very small compared to them!

You'll need to make sure the 18" wheels and tyre combination have the same rolling radius ( distance they cover in 1 rotation! ) as the std 16"'s did .. then there will be no problem. Usually means dropping down a couple of tyre profile sizes ( 55 to 40 for example ).

the Toyo website do a neat conversion table
This is not it but a start ..

can be tricky if you have a front puncture and 6 pots, you have to swap two wheels

I didn't hink you were suppose to fit space savers to the front anyway, so any front puncture results in 2 wheel changes

1) you have no alternative, a bigger space saver won't fit in the boot will it?
2) you will be doing very low mileage at low speeds

-> so it's not worth worrying about
