Default fault code 32

i know this is the oxygen/lamba sensor but whats causing it to show up faulty? , will this be causing the slightly high idle and some times slightly erratic idle and mis-fire?

MY00 P1, has had 2 major rebuilds in the last 4 months dont really want another one just yet!

thanks in advance kieran

Yes your idle can go all over the shop and fuel ecomony out the window, as if it's not bad enough already

My advice...buy a new one as they're cheap as chips . They're only £35 or so from either:

or

I wouldn't have thought there was a need for that. Not unless the Lambda doesn't fix the problem and idle is still cr*p.

I wouldn't buy one straight away either as it's easy enough to swap with a mate for 10 mins & see if there's any change.

After two melted engines in my 99 which erratic idle etc i was suspected to be the maf, it was swapped and gave no more probs. The lambada got swapped 2 days b4 it melted for the second time. A few members swap them once a year now with there service and £70 is not that much compared to a engine

I filled up in North Devon while on holiday with some normal juice ( i normally only use Optimax or Tesco 99 ron. That was 2 months ago and havent had any probs since. Cheers
