As the title.
When driving even over small bumps I get a brittle cracking noise coming from the dashboard area.
It comes and goes, but when it's there it's bloody annoying!

Has anyone had the same problem, and if so can anyone suggest a solution?

Yes this is some compensation - but does not solve the problem.

yes, have you got the standard music system? seems like mine comes from there, goes if you push it slightly.

on mine, it the trim closest to the windscreen, just push it down and it stop...

worth a go i reckon?

Yes, the standard music system is fitted so I will give that a go and look at the trim closest to the windscreen.

It's good to know that I am not the only one suffering with irritating noises!

I will update on my findings.
