Tyres are great although i havent done much wet weather driving on them yet but a big improvement on the old ones.

Not really, best bet would be to decat the whole exhaust system and get a remap, should see around the 280bhp mark, You can only get the Ecutek remap on MY99 onwards, pre MY99 cars would need a replacement ecu like the Apexi FC that has had plenty of good reviews, type in on the search facility and see what people have to say about it.

They are all top lads there.

I dont live to far away, just down the road in fact so i spend quite a bit of time there.

Gavin and Graham will do everything they can to help, give advice, make sure your doing the right thing with your car and jsut generally good folks.

Mine is in at TSL today again having my ligthened fly wheel and AP clutch fitted and i couldnt trust any one more with my scooby than them. Even the work shop is so damn well looked after and clean while in use.

Good thing is you can stand and see them all working, not in the back where you cant see whats going on. You can easily spend a day there

Just cant wait to get back in here at the end of today!

I have a my99, don't really want a Full de-cat due to sound issues

Have one cat removed and pannel filter at the mo, what sort of BHP do you think I'm pushin out? my guess would be 230? 15bhp for the filter and cat removal ?

A tek3 remap with one cat removed should see at least 240bhp on a MY99.

Id save your money on getting a remap which cost about £650, and get a Dawes Device and turn the boost up slightly, should see more or the same sort of power a remap would give but for £40.

Another thumbs up for the guys at TSL

I had a centre de-cat and re-map om my MY01 about a year ago..

It made 259 bhp and 270 lb ft torque on the rollers at scoobyclinic earlier this year, which i was well chuffed with.

Had a good day at tsl yesterday, very nice bunch of people, plenty of tea, lovly clean workshop.Cars running great after remap, deseptivly fast due to the now smooth power delivery,no more bad flat spots.Handling has improved greatly after geomtry set up,im now confident with pushing the car hard, before i was never quite sure what the steering was going to do next.So all in all im happy, lets see what next years modifications will bring. Thanks Gavin for all your help regards JASON
