First suspension Mod to make??
Have been getting the feeling recently, as i grow more confident in my car, the one thing letting me down quite badly is the handling,
I drive an 02 WRX, with full de-cat, uprated intercooler and an induction kit.
Just wondering what people's thoughts where on the first step to take with improving handling, and the cost as well
I am also running RE070 tyres as well
Opinions please

As Warren says, rear ARB and links. Can be done for IRO £125+vat at Scoobyclinic, and easy enough for DIY if you like. Get used to that for a while before you dive in with the big money for springs. Doing the lot as John says above can leave the car skittish and seriously compromise ride quality. Fine if it's a weekend/track toy, but if it's your daily driver it can get tiring.
Another option is professional driver tuition. Over any mod I have ever made, that is what brought the biggest performance advantage by far, and makes you safer to boot. It's also a lifetime mod, as you take it with you into whatever car you ever drive

Full gemoetry check and adjustment.
If its never been done...odds on it will be off...most of the time they always are.
solid rear drop links remove the compliance and independence to the rear suspension...think of it acting like a solid live rear axle...and you get the idea (theorectically they reduce rear end grip....but on an understeering car, it is advantageous...but I'd prefer to fix the front end rather than unfixing the rear...bit of a backwards approach imo )

All the above + Eibach springs and KYB AGX adjustable dampers. I have everything incl. front ARB and links, camber bolts f+r and hard steering rack rubber from Whiteline and anti liftkit. My Bugeye is very controllable and precise.
