This is the SLOWEST most annoying forum
Before I start let me say I think the posts and information found on this site is top quality.
However the site takes ages to load, I know its not my end as I have a really fast connection, it takes days per page!!
Also when you go back out of a thread it jumps back to the top of the list, meaning you lose your place ??? WHY ??
I'm more than happy to code these problem for the admin if they want, but I thought I'd voice my concerns to the people.
I'm not just moaning I'm offering to put some time in and fix the issues

I love threads like this!!! 
Firstly... I do appreciate we have a speed problem, but only during peak traffic times. We are looking at fixing this issue long term, and have specific areas that may be causing issues to look at changing. Unfortunately this will take considerable time and effort and whilst I apologise for the present speed issues, we will certainly look to resolve this long term.
However....
a)The speed issues have absolutely nothing to do with LOGO's.
b)The speed issues have absolutely nothing to do with pointless lines of code.

Thanks for offering to help (makes a change from people just sticking the boot in
), but as point b), it is actually to do with running the software we use serving in excess of 600 simultaneous users on-line, against the OS we have on our servers. We basically need to re-image the servers with a more effecient operating system which we have been informed will sort the problem out.
