Question Sport to Turbo.....

Quite Simply how easy is it ???

I have potentially got a Sport and i already have an engine, gearbox & ECU from an STi.

Is it a simple swap or is there a lot involved ??

Chris.

Its a different car; all the Sport is, is a 2 litre GL fitted with a few superficial parts that make it look similar to a Turbo. Every mechanical part will need to be changed, the end result will have cost a fortune and be difficult to insure.

It's quite complex... if you look out for NWS on www.imprezasport.net he has done it on his after his engine let go.
I think you will find your better off buying a Turbo to start with as you have the whole package... it's a lot more than just engine to consider.
