Sorry, nothing to do with Subarus, but just fell off my chair laughing at the insurance renewal for my 100cc scooter: £380!!! That's a 200% increase and I haven't made any claims. Rip-off Britain or what!

So, any recommendations gladly accepted. (Bennetts quote £236).

Scooter huh, thought this was addressed at motorcyclists

Seriously I pay £180 for my ZX6R so you are indeed being ripped off.

My broker is Lambert Fenchurch, unfortunately the only number I have is their K-Care number (kwackers only), 0845 7515516, I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction for a quote tho.

What I really think you should do tho, is but a copy of Motor Cycle News as there are loads of brokers advertising there for you to ring around.

Hope this helps

Simon

Cool

Try Motorcycle direct on 0870 160 0400 (quotations only)
0870 160 0410 (All other queries)

I have a feeling that that if you are refferred by a freind you get a small discount (or I do, can't remember).

Still cheapest I could find for my Blackbird.

Mike.

Motorcycle Direct were v good for me too, you get a good discount for being in the BMF, usually enough to warrant joining, which Motorcycle Direct can do for you.

Aha! Mitchell's was a name I was trying to dredge out of my feeble memory, used to use them for my CBR6, they were always the cheapest.

FYI, the CBR6 got nicked and they were very good about it, i.e. I paid £3800 for it when it was worth far more. When it got nicked they were going for about £4500, which they quite happily paid out even tho they knew what I'd paid for it. I had to be interviewed about the claim mind you, but I didn't really mind cos at the time I'd heard that by doing that one in ten claims for bike theft were being dropped, which is good for policy prices.

Cheers

Simon
