Just on my way home tonight driving steadily along the Sheffield Parkway (Dual Carriageway) when all of a sudden there was a fairly loud bang/clunk from the front end of the car which shook the steering column. It was as though I'd hit a large pothole or large animal but when I looked back in my rear view mirror there was nothing. The road looked smooth as silk. Has anyone else had this and is it something I should worry about? I'm hoping it was something I hit and just couldn'tsee it. Any info would be great.
