Lightbulb Newbie: limited edition 94 STI any information

HI All,

I'm new to Subaru's and in fact I'm just buying at the moment and I'm trying to find out some info.

Its a 1994 Wagon WRX STI which seems to be a limited edition xxx of 100 and the first STi's made but I'm having trouble finding information about these cars. Spec, output what should be standard etc.

Any info or links much appreciated.

I got Ver1 STI No 81/200. There seems to be some confusion about how many STI's were made this year .Some say 100 some say 200. Any views/comments/knowledge much appreciated! Cheers Dave

200 Saloons and 200 SportsWagons; 'Wagons have a slightly lesser spec, deleting the alloy wishbones for example.

There was a 100 run and a 200 run. I have a suspicion that there was double this amount given a car each from the 100 and 200 run have same numbers - so far I have a record of over 80 version 1's. And thats before I retired to ATR-dom.

There was no difference between the wagon and saloon spec wise - I've seen loads now and they are all of muchness. The difference in the 100 to 200 was supposedly only the mapping, but no one has ever confirmed this properly.
