Just drove a Evo 7 RS and a 02 WRX STi
Just been on one of those driving experience days, and drove a Evo 7 RS and a Scooby Wrx Sti.
Evo 7 RS: Always wanted to drive a Evo, and the expectations didnt let me down, this car was awsome , kind of reminded me of a scooby Type RA, quick through the gears and when the turbo kicked in, it kind of takes your breath away, The only thing that put me off was the rear diff kept banging when I changed the gears pretty fast, when i gave it some, And pulling away was kind of juddery, dont think I could live with it as a day to day car, but if I had money for 2 cars this would be top of the shopping list and a banger to drive round in as a 2nd car.
WRX STi: Seemed just as quick as the evo, but more pleasent to drive and not as extreme, wasnt to bothered about driving the scooby as Ive got a 04 WRX myself and didnt think a Sti would be that differant to my WRX, but boy I was wrong, but kind of made me reliase how good the scooby is after driving the evo for a few laps, and compared to my WRX, you can tell its a more complete car over a normal WRX, and makes me realise that the STi should be the next car I should own.
Also spoke to the bloke who runs the place and he said that the STi had been through 3 engines, but I can see why, the Evo hadnt been used all day and when it was my turn to drive it, he started it up and blasted it round the track to warm it up, so if they do that to the cars I can see why the evo had been through a couple of gearboxes and the Sti has had 3 engines.

I originally paid £94 for my dad to have a blast in the F355, as a fathers day present, but as I turned up with my Scooby, I had the bloke who run the place come upto me and was talking to me about my scooby.
When my dad was having his briefing on safe driving etc, the bloke who run the place asked my dad if me and my brother would like to take the Evo for a drive for £30, Result but I hadnt bought my drivers licence, they even over looked it and said dont worry.
Overall I had a brilliant day, and to see my dads face as he gave the Ferrari some stick was well worth it.
