Wash and dry car then apply each part of the system.

thanks Andy, it's an 04 wrx in McRae blue if that makes sense, had a bad experience with Turtle Wax, there's a thread on here that I started, any tips on using the system and is it suitable for my car.

thanks Andy

Really depends on what your wanting to do with the paint.

Step 1 is not really abrasive if your wanting to remove light scratches, but is really good for removing water marks etc and preparing the bodywork prior to applying the polish and wax.

Best advice is just to follow the application instructions on the back.

I used terry cotton towels for application and buffing of the polishes/waxes.

I used it on my last car Audi S4 Avant (Imola Yellow)with fantastic results and similarly my 03 WRX wagon in Black Mica.

Only thing I would say is be prepared to spend a whole day on the car to do it properly.

I reckon you should give the meguiars clay bar a go, girlfriend. I was very impressed with it for bugs and tar spots. Wash, rinse, clay, rinse, dry wax...bootiful!

You failed to mention 2hrs and aching limbs but agreed the results were worth the effort

Yep, thats true, its quite labour intensive but rewarding when you've done it. Also, having done mine I had to then drive through a mucky rain storm. Next day thought I would try the quick detailer. So spent about 10 mins spraying around the car and buffing with a microfibre cloth and it looked freshly waxed again. Magic!

Yep I agree....

Well worth the effort, I done my 02 Sti last week - 6 hours later a nice smooth paint job...

Now just a top up once a month with Meguiars NXT...

Great Stuff!

i was reccomended the autoglym tar remover for bugs/tar instead of giving it a complete once over with the clay bar,

very easy to do and removes everything almost immediately without too much elbow grease
