Is that the one? I would ask for power and torque charts first (I can't find any on there).

Adam

P.S. Did I talk to you about headlights at Longleat?

Easier to buy an STi and just ecutek it, probably better for the parts can take that sort of power and the new MY05 JDM cars are pushing that out of the box, need i say more?

Yup something like that, seen a few 350/360bhp JDM scoobs (twin sroll turbo models) with a nice dollop of torque thrown in also

FWIW, 360+bhp/355+lbft is achievable on normal pump fuel without octane booster with the right bits (for circa £1600) using a totally standard JDM MY03> base car. Spool up and driveability is far superior than an equivalent UK spec Scoob.

Regards,
Shaun.

JDM

Is this like a 260bhp sti UK?

So you'd get this with

1. Remap
2. Fully decatted exhaust
3. Airfilter (non-panel?)
4. FPRegulator?

Yeah,i agree about going down the jdm route but buying another car just to modify is a budget out of control! , i allready own a wrx 01 so the outlay would be £4000 but as scoob's are not selling well i would have to give my car away going on the cars for sale results.

Adam twas me at Longleat!!

We've decided to keep our bugeye for a couple more years as to sell it we would have to practically give it to a dealer.

Thought I recognised the name GUNNER

Me too on '03 wrx blobby. Would like an '03 or '04 sti instead as prices very good, but will just loose too much on the wrx. Buyers market and anyone buying a new wrx is daft when you see the used ppp sti bargains.

I asked on here a couple of weeks ago about what mods I should do to my 04 WRX to up the power a bit, and the only response I got was get a STi,
Thinking about it, it would work out cheaper to sell the car and put the money I was going to spend on the car and put it towards a STi, But the hassle of selling the car etc would be a bit of a pain, So Ive decided to get a full decat and a ecutek remap, and next time when I come to get a new Scooby get a JDM STi and have a better platform to modify on.

So i take it nobody know's of a car thats had this done ? not only that my car has got the godspeed 335 kit fitted plus wrc light conversion, large rear wing, sti 8 scoop so look wise it's ok !just down on power an H/S 3 inch half system is fitted to but this would come off as part of the conversion.

Don't know anyone, but the guys at WRC seem to know what they're doing, and will take time to talk you through it and answer any questions you might have.

First met Chris at G-Force, but now he's at WRC-Tech.

RR day there a few weeks ago was good, and as always the chaps there were full of useful free advice and suggestions on how to go forward.

If I had the money to splash on a more BHP conversion WRC would be near the very top of my list of options.

Mike

I thought the Bugeye upgrade path was pretty well sorted to about 325 BHP and just under 300 Torque (to keep the OEM internals, gearbox and clutch from exploding !!)

Should have change from £2k

*cough* Andy Forrest *cough*
