Default Price on WRX tmic PLease

Will be replacing the i/c on my 02WRX for STI over the weekend, does anyone know what i could ask for my WRX one as i understand it is a good upgrade for some clasics.

Any advice would be great

I've got my original MY02 WRX intercooler in the garage from when I swapped it for the STi item It's propped up against an old ITG panel filter to stop it falling over !!

They are not worth that much (£50 ?? )...... to replace the slanty Classic is a lot of work I gather !!

I'd keep it in the garage for when you go for the FMIC !! It makes a handy replacement for a few days for when you sell the STi TMIC to upgrade

I'm doing this mod next week hopefully. Does it make any difference to the car before a remap?

I ran over 300 BHP on my bugeye with a TD05 and an STi Intercooler plus a few other Mods

AFAIK the STi intercooler is really quite efficient for an OEM product with good temp drops and less boost drop than the WRX intercooler.

I'd be careful before a remap as the colder charge and increased boost with the STi intercooler might *just* bring you into an area where the ECU starts to get unhappy and fuel cuts

I'd also go for the STi scoop and undertray as well as the STi TMIC

Cheers
