Pedal advice
Hi everyone!
I've just bought a MY98 standard UK turbo in Reddish Blue - picked it up this evening so I thought I'd get in here and start asking questions!
It seems in pretty good nick (well, as long as nothing blows up in the next few days!) but the rubber on the clutch pedal is worn away and makes the pedal slippery and quite dangerous. I fancy a set of Momo pedals to match the steering wheel but they seem to need holes drilling in the original pedals to fit them - drilling holes in my new car fills me with fear!!
Can anyone tell me if there are there any pedals that fit differently or do all replacement pedals require me to attack my car with power tools??!
Expect further questions when I decide to upgrade the exhaust, induction kit, guages, indicators..... there's quite a list!!
Kevin.

I've tried momo/sparco pedals before. They do state on most sets that they 'are for off road use only', and thats there for a very good reason. When your shoes are wet, those typres of pedals are lethal! Get a replacement pedal rubber from subaru for around a fiver, thats what I did anyway. Good luck.

What you want is a nice shiny set of STi pedals, no drilling required
http://www.stiracing.com/product.php?cat_id=1&id=85
Also newage cars have a metal pedal set which has a rubber backing that is a push fit (can be tricky to fit cos the rubber is a fairly tight fit)

Richie, they sound good! Any idea how much they are, there's no price on the website? (I suppose I can e-mail the guy!)
As long as it's not regarded as a no-no to put STI parts on a non-STI car?!

AFAIK STi Racing do a very good price but I think Simon could be ill or busy at the mo.
