Default SUBARU IMPREZA WRX VLTD 555 VERSION 5

Considering this car as a change from my UKTurbo.

Great spec - nice clean car, however, don't seem to be able to find any info about SUBARU IMPREZA WRX VLTD 555 VERSION 5. No 14/1000 apparently. Any advice gratefully received.

Best Wishes

James

Interesting. This isn't an STI by the way (although I'm so ******* confused it could be a Skoda). I can't seem to find any resource relating to this particular variant.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Best wishes JT.

This would appear to be the same type of car. I owned a couple of years ago. (Is it a Type R?). Should have Variable centre diff and water spray (No ABS!) Also S/R Gearbox
Comparisons to P1 are Ermmm. Not Quite...!.
May come Stickered up. (Mine Did).
If it is only a WRX you will not have the Red top manifold and perhaps not Air con or indeed stereo and perhaps wind up windows.
However. Many of these items may have been requested at build by the previous/original owner.
Should have Roof flap though! and is Sonic Blue?
Back seats should be non foldable.IE Solid rear bulkhead.
4 door is probably what you're looking at.
All the above apply.
Power should be @ 278 as standard.
If it's a wrx with standard CR gearbox Maxing at 130mph after derestriction.
If you have the longer 5th ratio (Doubt it if it's a wrx ) 155-160
If you require more info please mail me.
BTW. Andy F. runs my original car!9Not original now Though!
Cheers.

search for ra v-ltd mate! its a light weight model with a group n rally gear box etc etc very nice cars, its not actually a 555,people call them 555's but subaru never did and adding that to your search will make it very confusing! they made 1000 each year

hope that help a little

ps i'd say its easily a match for a P1......easily.......

BTW. Subaru Never made any "V" LTDs.
They are just called LTDs(All in Sonic Blue of slightly varying hues).

Errrm they acutally did make V-Ltds, here is one stickered up from the factory by subaru (just search towards the bottom of the list )
http://www.just-sports.org/sold.asp

This one looks like a WRX, gives you the addition of ABS over the DCCD, still 280ps, still worth getting, still very rare.

Doesn't list it either (S plate 98 car)

WRX RA?

That does not explain the plaque with WRX Ltd Type-RA 14/1000.

weird. I spotted this post earlier and thought about it down the pub. Was doin' my "admin" and thanking the other helpfull folkes, I was then going to look up your post. Previewed, posted and then that appeared

So what have I got mate? My Japanese is awful! Also - how come I can't find it listed or am I just being backward?

You are, without doubt, a blessing....

But where the **** do I get an English tanslation? I mentioned earlier that my Japanese is poor............my command of the Kanji dialect is even worse!

Still at least I think I know I'm buying a WRX Type RA Ltd. I just wish it was listed somewhere.

Upon closer inspection - that's the plaque.

Now, I could PM you, but what about the viewers who would like to see the conclusion? I.E why the flaming 'eck isn't it listed anywhere? Why all the mis-info?

So, are you saying that not all STI have DCCD, Water spray, Red Stitching / manifold.,,, because mine doesn't. 'kin 'ell what a bloomin maze!
