Default Rad expansion tank

Does anyone know (bearing in mind the difficulties sometimes of Main Dealers supplying parts for grey imports) whether a MY95 JDM WRX expansion tank is the same as a UK one? Mine has started to leak a little and a replacement tank wouldn't be a bad idea.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Hi mate mine started to leak the other week so got a cast one from a later model 2001 I think. You'll have to make up a couple of brackets as the cast tank sits slighly more forward and higher. If you stick a wanted ad in here a lad had one in his garage and at a very resonable price compared to the one I got from a breakers(£85). If you want a photo of the tank in position with the brackets let me know

Yep, they're the same (95 WRX and 95 UK)

I bought one about 6 weeks ago from a dealer for around 60 quid (alos bought a new cap as the rubber washer looked a bit dodgy, another £18-20).

Check the price though, one dealer tried to charge me 150 +VAT
