Default Rubbing Type Noise

After some advise really.

Approx 6 months ago I started to hear like a vrub vrub vrub noise which I thought was coming from passenger rear. The noise got louder / faster with acceleration.

Took the car to my local dealer who said oh yes that is your wheel bearing, we will replace under warranty. Well thats simple I thought!

When I went to collect my car I was told all done drivers side bearing replaced I said thought it was passenger side that needed replacing and they said oh no it was drivers side.

Driving the car home guess what, noise still there. Contact dealer and took car back a week later. Now told that although they can hear the noise they can not find what is wrong and I was advised that it may be my rear tyres and to swap them with the fronts to see if that cures the problem. Done that and noise still there.

Car is STi8 and has had rear struts and top mounts replaced due to knocking noise which has also now returned - is there any cure for this apart from just keep replacing the struts etc..

So, has anyone any idea what this damn noise could be so I can give my dealer some more clues, even though they should be telling me!

Also am I free to take it to another dealer who may have staff who actually care about their customers? Recomendations?

Rant over, appreciate any advise.
