Default VTA dump valve question.

Now before the slagging off starts this is NOT for me!!! So don't even start

Mates thinking of getting a VTA dump valve for his UK turbo scoob. Nothing silly that sounds like a friggin bus, something subtle.

Now the reason for this post is, not sure if i saw something before about it but is there any risk to the engine in replacing the recirc DV for a VTA DV?

Chew the fat off a few of THESE. If it's just the noise he's after it can be had by removing the resonator and snorkel, which is covered in THIS LINK
