Question Spoiler for Choice

Could anybody give me some advice, I have got a 03WRX in WR Blue and it is still has the standard spoiler.

I would like to fit a larger one, but not too large, the DR Motorsport Rallytech looks about right, but is their anything else I have missed.

I have done a search on here, and found little to help me, perhaps everybody is well sorted?

It would be handy to use my SIDC discount, I live in the South of England (Oxford), and something local would be handy.

Thanks

Paul

AllanP:

That’s a nice lightweight wing, I think it looks nice, and it’s very different from what else I have seen, it’s the UK300 I see

I love the Prodrive 18’s in the picture but that’s another story.

I see you are from Essex, why don’t you pop down to the

Japanese Performance Sunday - Sunday July 17th @ Hickstead, perhaps I can see it in the flesh ???

Thanks for your reply

There are raisers available for the WRX spoiler. TSL do them;

You'll either love or hate them mind..! Personally I'm not sure (minor contradiction)..!

Jasonius: the work hate springs to mind!

I have been looking hard for a spoiler, even tried local suppliers for the Ralleytech, seems to be to much bother to supply them and they are not painted anyway.

Looked at the ScoobyMania and saw the risers.

The Adj 22B Rear Wing was interesting but the images on the site were so blurred, I could not see a thing, nothing about if it was pained or not.

It was sold a bit short IMHO.

nothing beats seeing them in the flesh

Scarey: Thats good advice, I am off to the Japanese Performance Sunday - Sunday July 17th at Hickstead this Sunday, next week to JAE on 23rd and 24th July 2005. East of England Show Ground, Peterborough.

Be prepared for me to scrutinise all the wings at the shows

If I can see anything better than the standard ironing board spoiler it will have to stay LOL

D3MAN: Yep this one looks real nice, I will be parked up with ESC probably have the pink fluffy dice up in windscreen as usual LOL, you can’t miss me I’m the only one with an ironing board on the boot lid.

Please come over for a chat, cos’ I want to know all about it especially finish and paint match.

Was talking to a M8 of mine at work and he really likes the standard low level spoiler, sees the big ones as a **** extension, but I just don’t feel I have a Impreza with out one, a spoiler that is, not the **** extension. LOL

Having studied the ST I8 spoiler, it just feel over the top, and as for the wine rack ones, well there a bit like the bikers with the big hump in the back of the leathers.

Not fore me

Scoobydaddy.

That is truely a beautifl wing. Enough height but not too in your face. I really don't like the huge ones, they're just nasty looking in my opinion but they seem to be a blokes favourite

The ends that flap down give it an almost modest presentation in as much as it does the job but hey, you don't have to look at me

Soulgirl: It also seems strange that the drmotorsports STI8 style one is £350.00 Painted but the rallytech is £500.00 painted.

You would have thought it was the other way round, must be that given the choice people don’t like the style of the STI8, it’s do big and a half……………..!

It all comes down to what people are willing to pay.

For £95.00 + VAT I would have expected them (Risers). to be made of titanium and carbon with gold leaf lettering
