MY00 PPP Characteristic
This may be a silly question but...
Ive just had the MAF replaced after the car wasnt running right for 3 months, and would you believe i cant really remember how the car drove before!
Now it seems to have a fair bit of lag before the turbo comes online and when it does its more vicious than ever, it really does just blow you away. It feels like its all or nothing now. Im sure its coming in at 3k and doesnt the PPP come in a 2.5k?
Any classic PPP owners describe how their cars put the power down as its never driven like this before!

I would hazard a guess that the MAF is on the way out ................
Get it replaced NOW ..... get a re-map and get someone with Dick-Cans to sit beside you with a Laptop!!
And invest in a CockLink so you get REALLY paranoid!!
Your engine is clearly running very weak - expect number 3 Big-End bearing to fly out of the sump at any moment!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you say you had reset the ECU following the MAF change, if so - then I guess its just the car re-learning??
