Without a doubt, Super Autobacs in Tokyo is the place to go for bits. It's like the Harrods of Halfords.

Thanks! Which area is it in? Which is the nearest underground station? Or is it a company with branches all over?

Just asked Apexjapan and got:

- super autobacs shinanome
- toyosu station on the yurakucho line
- walk about 5 blocks towards the bridge, over it, and a bit further
- there is also the shinanome station itself, but damned hard to find the monorail train out there....
- there is the main subaru office/dealer in Shinjuku station on the east side

Whatever all that means

Would be OK but SAB is in "Shinonome" and there is a station there - on the Rinkai Line (yes it is not the most convenient line). But walking much in a Japanese summer is hell, but each to his own.

Subaru have their HQ in Shinjuku (near the West exit), but the showroom is small. Dare I say it, but you can have more fun at the Toyota displays at Amlux (Ikebukuro) or MegaWeb (near Daiba). Both are HUGE.

Most of the good Scooby tuners are not in Tokyo proper, and most (surprisingly ) are in car accessible places not well train served.

Cool

Excellent! Quality info. Thanks. Gonna go have a look today.

Went to Toyota mega web (car show room) yesterday and was really impressed. If only Subaru had something similar.
I appreciate your help. Cheers!
