Does anyone have any buying advice eg. what to look for, problem areas on a 52 plate WRX?

Yes buy mine - probably the best you'd find in the country! But with what it's got I don't think anyone would give me the cash I'd want to let her go!

Check out the leading edge of the bonnet for 'ripples' where cack-handed mechanics may have pushed too hard on the soft aluminium bonnet and dented it. Try to get one with some other kind of headlights than the standard bugeyes already fitted (save you some money). Other than that - just check the obvious - happy hunting!

Service history essential, any reciepts also helpful.just make sure all of the switches etc work as they should , as you'll be suprised how much they cost. tyres are about £100 a corner so use any low tread as a bargaining point .Is it due a service soon ? if so is it a big service ? this could set you back a fair whack so allow for this too. If it's a UK car it should have a few months of warranty left I would guess

No problem areas really, get a fully serviced car cos it's quite new and make sure it looks tidy.

Bought one in March on 52 plate. 30K miles and fsh.
Only problem so far was leaking rad replaced under warranty.

Essentials, FSH and a warranty (just in case).
