Opinions on alloy wheel damage from new
As topic suggests all alloys had clip on weights instead of stick ons. Going to Lepsons on Saturday to get priced up for re-balancing with stick ons and repair to any damage i.e. scratches.....
Have I a case here? This is my third scoob and the only one delivered with clip ons....

hmm
when i bought my legacy rims from a bloke down south, they had stick on wieghts and there was less then 50miles use on the wheels
i think it could be possible that on the production line, the stick on wieght machine broke down and maybe forced them to use other alternitives for a short while?

I have a Decemeber 04 WRX, with god awful 'knock on' wheel weights fitted from new.
I had a puncture repaired and the wheel re-balanced and there was'nt any damage to the rim where the original clip used to sit.
Its the 1st car I've bought with 'knock on' clips fitted from new.
Hope this clarifies things.
