MY06 Who's getting one?????
Hi Everyone,
Glenn from Revolution here,
We've been asked from our bodykit manufacturers (Orciari and Zero Sports) to get a feel for the next Impreza due out later this year and see wether or not it's worth getting a bodykit and other parts ready for the UK launch or just wait until next year.
Yes I know what your all going to suggest a front grille, me too, but can scoobynet members give us any other ideas on how many are going to trade up to the latest model straight away.
If so, any ideas on what you guys (and girls) would be looking for in subtle but effective upgrades.
We have put some ideas down on paper already but we really do value your opinion on this one as its no good getting kits designed if no one likes them.
Also does anyone know of the official due date is as we've tried to get a date to order an STI without any answers apart from October ish.
Ideas and help would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Glenn

I always thought the removal of the grills from the bonnet was a backward step, manufacture some nice grills for attaching to the bonnet and you will have a winner, IMO.
I cannot remember whether the 06 car pictures have shown any grills?
Anyway, thats my 2ps worth .............. stack 'em high and sell 'em cheap and you'll have a mile long queue!

Got to wait until it comes out before I think of buying it, if I dont like the look of it in the flesh then I wont be buying, theres a few things I dont like the look of on the MY06 and thats the rear spoiler that sits above the rear window, the grille and the rear lights I aint to keen on, just hope they look a bit better when modded.

The MY06 Jap spec STI got a fantastic write up in Car Magazine this month. They reckon its the best handling Scoob ever - which is quite a claim. Going to be worth a look that's for sure.

I'm waiting for Litchield imports to finish developing the MY06 Type 25. Judging by how good their 2004 Type 25 was, the MY06 which will be getting the 2.5 engine should be one hell of a car.

Unless they've changed all those things again, I think the reviewer is writing about the changes from '04 and earlier, not realising that the '05 car already incorporates them.
I believe the only changes from '05 to '06 are aerodynamics and a little extra power.
