wheel bearing costs?

Default wheel bearing costs?

been quoted by a friends dad to supply and fit a wheel bearing for £180 + vat....

is this expensive? it seems alot of money to me!

I thought wheel bearings only cost a few quid.
That does seem a lot of money for a small job

From memory both rears cost me c.£200 labour & bearing kits were £60 odd a side (trade).
Ring a main dealer if you to get scared.

A wheel bearing kit costs £32 inc VAT from Mill auto or Part co (who are more expensive)

It will take about a hour to remove and refit if you have the right tools. So £180+vat is rather pricey if you ask me.
