Question diamondbrite

How good is diamondbrite .....wifes getting a new car and for £299 they will do inside and out.....cheers

its supposed to be ok, but in my eyes way over priced. in my opinion save the cash and buy mguires or zimmol stuff. far better and much cheaper!!! (i know the spellings are wrong!)

Its a very profitable excercise for the dealer.
Much better results can be had for much much less.
A good detailer will advise you accordingly.

as said matey,save the £££££££££££'s and get some mcguiars kit,top notch gear,the diamond brite kit what dealer's try and sell for £2-300 quid retails trade at around £35,my mate runs a valeting company and he is gobsmacked at how many people fork out for the stuff when buying a new motor

As above really, most valeter's can do the excact same job for about £100.

I have not used it before so was unsure..anyway the wifes car is the new peugoet 107 so the dealers trying to make a bit more money on it....having said that my two kids are so messy that food and drink willhave to be banned.(just like the scooby )

Yeah that is a rip off, I used to work for a dealer and most new cars are supplied direct with diamondbrite, but the dealers try and portrait it as the best thing ever....well its not.
Dont get me wrong its good and does give your car a good shine but you may aswell get some off ebay for around £20...cchhheeaaappppp!!!! how they can say £299 and justify it I dont know.

Similar to 'Bigging' or whatever it was called. Sold by AFG and other Nissan dealers for £200 in 1990 and it cost them about £5 a go......

As above really i work for a ford main dealer at a pdi centre our dealerships try to sell diamond brite at over inflated prices so everyone can take there cut, the gaurantee ain,t worth what is says. being a painter i would go with what everybody else says a good quality wax work just a good if not better

a guy on here was selling Diamondbrite kits for around £35 I bought one and did my dad's new Jag with it seems to work ok, but no way would I pay that mate!!
