Still a 2ltr, 280ps quoted engine, though the 422nm of torque isnt too bad

Very nice. Thank god they've gotten rid of the bulbous tacked on nose from the current model.

I thought the 2006 UK WRX and STi would be 2.5?

2.5 is certainly easier to get 400+ lbft out of rather than a poxy 400+ Nm

It's funny how the mags (Auto Express and Autocar) quote Subaru as stating the interior will again be upgraded in terms of quality, when from the images it looks like everything is the same as the MY05 model with the exception of the seat material looking different - but the quality could still be the same. Certainly the dials etc seem exactly the same...

So we're back to suspension mods and bodywork mods - the third facelift in 5 years (excluding all the other chnages they make). That's poor for any car...

That's because AutoXYZ are the tabloid gutterpress equivalents - I tend to read them for entertainmetn value only. Sure, some elements are correct much there always seems to be a great bias towards artistic interpretation

Still don't like it though!!!!

Like the look of that, finally given it a more aggressive front end after the soft looking last model and the bugly before, not sure about the max power spoiler on top of the back window.

Isnt that what every dealer has been doing, no sooner are you used to a shape they go and change it all around. Subaru do it more than most I agree but its the designer world we live in that changes it so quickly.
