Try here www.wickedkit.co.uk or www.just-sports.org, both are in the northwest (one near preston the other in ashton under lyne) and both have spec c's in stock.
Now, the entire point about a spec c is that its a stripped out car, if you dont like the look of it then its not the car for you, dont buy the car because its faster than something else, go for the normal version with all the goodies in, i bought mine because i didnt mind the looks (nice white looking wrx but with over 300bhp ) so its a complete sleeper, but id also look at the insurance side of things, under 30 and you may struggle, plus the lack of features (even the limiteds have less of sound deadening etc), if you have any doubt, its not the car for you, especially if you think the evo looks better

thank you for your help on this.but i am scooby nut.but i think evos do look good to.i think scoobys are more user freindly for everyday use.i have been to langtree garage but steven philips makes me mad hes stuck so far up his own ?hes a joke.hes not interested in the consumer.they are not consumer freindly people.i have never been to just sports and i dont really want a white one or to pay that type of money

You do know that with an MY03 Spec C you loose the flat 4 noise dont you? these have twin scroll turbos (as per the evo's) equal length headers, lighter cast pistons (hyperthingy metal which is better than the forged ones currently used), but much more fun
Quick rack steering standard, 12ltr water tank in boot, no boot lining, no sound proofing, different sub frame, a good point is the engine oil cooler (only the type RA's/Spec C's get these standard )
Note that these cars need optimax/octane booster to run correctly (mapped for 100 ron fuel), id also take a visit to www.jap-innovations.co.uk and invest in a knocklink and sensor.

Tony

PS, whats wrong with white Spec C's? its the only impreza that comes in that colour as standard people have to order white impreza's as a special order from japan!!

I think this one at Langtree's is amongst the cheapest. I'd buy it if I had a spare £5k

And the S202, which was based on the Spec C of its time, but a bit more extreme...

I made my mind up along time ago....Hence pestering over the car.
Why advertise a car that you don't even have? makes it hard for the genuine sellers who do when they see "ghost cars" as you call them at cheapo prices!!
I bought another car, but there is one at Carplanet at a good price, He is a nice guy too.

Car Planet seem pleasant enough however I nearly bought an 02 STi from them about a year ago. The front tyres were down to the limit. I asked him if he would put new tyres on for the sale and he said no. I walked away as a result and bought a UK STi elsewhere.
