I know you guys have probably heard this story before, but I am pretty chuffed, so have to spread the good word....

Thanks to my Car being an EU import getting PPP fitted at the end of the week, my insurer considered ppp as 4 mods and wanted to up my premium from about £750 a year to nearly double that. After phoning round all the specialist insurers and getting the "we don't touch import/modded cars" I finally gave A-Plan a try. They where really helpful and quoted £895. I'm 28 have no convictions, live in a village in herts and have it parked in a garage, so I'm not really a high risk.

You have to phone the A-Plan import dept, their standard dept can't help, but overall I was really impressed.

Like I said I know you have probably heard it all before, but those having trouble insuring ppp, give them a shot.
