Default Red Scooby

When I bought my Green Scooby, I got it becuase it was a good example and not for the colour, I have however come to love it... Now I'm looking at a RED Impreza which again I think is a good example, only its the Red thats making me a little uneasy.. For a start I've only seen it on pictures but whats your opinions on Red ones ??

Honestly now people..

Any example of Modded Red ones ?

Red cars can look fantastic, when really clean, just the same as black cars they unfortunatley show up all the minor swirls and scratches.
Just make sure you buy shares in Meguirs

I'm liking the red. I remember Litchfield had a red import a while back which was a good price, but I ended up with a nearly new black UK. The styling mods you've done have made an impressive difference compared to standard looks.

Don't anyone get a red one! I like mine being semi-exclusive...

No pics yet I'm afraid, but when it's got PPP, prodrive springs and flaps I'll post; hopefully within 2 months...

my red scooby started out a dog with sevral different shades of red due to red paints nature to fade like f**k and a roof like sand paper due to the primer reacting obviously from a dodgy repair, but having bought the car frim a main dealer on a dull rainy day i didn't even look at the bodywork . after a spat with the dealer i realised my reciept stated i was happy with the bodywork . as the car was only a £5500 (P plate old shape, nasty seats ) what did i expect . Well after a few trips between consumer advice and the dealer ,just so they new i was serious and a few coments like "could you PLEASE give me the address of your head office , complaints department , nad subaru head office " and the killer line " i will be taking the car to get an engineers report done before sending any leters on the advice of trading standards " at this point looking like the world was going to end the manager said that won't be necessay i'm sure we could come to some arrangement . that arrangement was a bare metal respray they said they wouldn't want me to think they didn't put the customer first !!!!!!! P.s the car looks brilliant and trading standards told me i didn't have a leg to stand on as the reciept clearly stated and the second hand car markert is a grey area (don't tell the dealer)

There was a red scooby corner type thread, but the search seems to be hosed so I can't find it...

I've got a red MY99 wagon and I think they look good in red although it was not a colour I would have chosen but it was the old 'condition' scenario. The only problem I have with red is the way it wears, afaik the car has not had any resprays (except a new front bumper) but you can see that the red has over time changed colour in certain areas, due to the elements I guess ie some parts are darker than others, but I still think it looks good.

I'm confused; I re-read this thread, and realised it was a blast from the past.

Who resurrected it I asked myself.

I was me!

WTF?

I was searching for the red scooby corner thread in the gallery, and must've had a moment of madness.

I should've added to this thread...
