1/4 mile
I'm planning on taking my Scoob to Santa Pod or somewhere close by in the near future, to see what it can do.
What would I be looking at, or lets say expect to achieve.
Scoob details:
93 WRX-RA, 300bhp, quick box, comp/organic clutch, lightened flywheel, de-cat, big system, and running perfect & its a monster off the mark.
Done the Run What Ya Brung on bikes many years back, and would like to know where other venues are, in or around the Midlands & also what's the deal, is it still arrive & drive ?
PNB

Thanks 16vmark
I used to run a 900FA Honda many years ago, and quite often got early 12's, on the 1/4 mile, the quickest being 12.2 with 108mph.
My Scoob feels way quicker than the bike was, may be to 110mph...
On this basis I would expect the Scoob to complete the 1/4 mile quicker than the bike easily..

if you get the launch ok with 300bhp in an RA you should be EASILY in the 12s....
im a low 13 in a lardy newage with barely 300bhp.....so im sure you can manage it in something that weighs about 150kgs less....

Interesting comments guy's, Santa Pod is out this weekend I have family commitments, however i'de certainly be interested in the very near future.
Quicker than my 900FA, I'm absolutely certain the Scoob would reach a 1/4 mile speed quicker than my bike did, you could not launch quick enough in fear of looping it over but still managed a best time of 12.2secs.
My Scoob is quite capable of launching really quickly and I'm astonished at it's pace, even though it's still running under powered, or potentially under powered.
I'm due to have the boost fettled with shortly, as after my new engine was fitted it was left with lower boost for the first 1000 miles, this I'm sure cannot improve the get go, but would impact the mid range and having a close ratio Quaiffe box this would surely hit hard across a 1/4 mile, ide say a good mid 12 sec's.
It's great fun this Scooby stuff & the forum plus it's depth of information is amazing.
