It sounds to be honest mate that your car wont let you give it some until it is up to temprature.
Basically it sounds like your car is doing what it is supposed to do, by not leting you thrash it when its cold, when its up to temprature thats when the fun can begin without doing any engine damage.

IIRC the Prodrive map has restrictions until certain criteria are met relating to oil and water temps. Protects the engine Frustrating though, as I was once outdragged by a Nova from a roundabout after just setting off.

My 04 is the same (non PPP) sluggish and a bit lumpy until warm.
Since having an oil temperature gauge fitted... It's surprised me how long the oil takes to warm up.
In a 5 mile drive to the local train station the oil has reached 75c, yet the water is at normal operating temperature well before. Takes another mile or so to get the oil up to 85c... which I think is about OK to give the Turbo some stick.
In the past I'd give the car some 'beans' after the water was at temperature

Thanks heavens for PPP's safety parameters.
Don't thrash a cold car!!!! If the oil is not up to operating temperature, you'll be doing your engine untold mischief!!
You do know about letting the car cool down as well, don't you?
