Best price - WRX STI?
With the facelifted Impreza on the way and imported UK spec Impreza STI's available for £19999 whats the best price you can get from a UK dealer for a new WRX STI with free PPP?
How about a 6 month old WRX STI with PPP, could you get one for £20k-£21k?
Thanks for your help

Got my brand new blue STI with PPP 3 weeks ago for £ 24,000 from main Subuaru dealer. Straight deal with no trade in. Got mats and a nice jacket chucked in as well.
I drive a hard bargain and the dealer was not going to come anything under 24.5. and was adament he was losing out.
The threat of me going to mitsibusi down the road did it and he secumbed.
If you can get a brand newie official car with PPP with STI mats, STI jacket, full tank of fuel cheaper then go for it.....I am all for people getting as much from the dealers as possible!
I see the new STI`s advertised for 20k at the car supermarkets, they say they are UK spec however they are A/ imports and B/ have been pre registered in most cases.
Its a great saving to do it that way but it will hit hard when you come to move it on, especially if you want to trade it in at a main dealer.
Each to his own, personally Im delighted to have the securiTy of an official UK motor and pretty happy I screwed myself a pretty good deal especially with the free PPP.

Its the Automatic drivers controlled center diff, it transforms the car, unfortunately its an optional extra in europe but standard in the uk (hence the extra 1k on the price of a uk car) but without it, you will find it very difficult to sell the car as all uk my05 cars have this.

Looking through Autoexpress I see that 1 year old STI Type UKs are listed at £15400!!!!
Seeing as I will be keeping the car for 3-4 years I doubt whether DCCD will be such an issue so far down the line.
I'm torn between jumping on the savings made with an import STI or waiting a little longer and getting an MY06 UK car around October time, from a Subaru dealer.
