What car have you?

I had mine changed recently, admittadly had flywheel skimmed aswell, but that came out to nearly £700.

This was the average price quoted really, with Subaru wanting £1150. So if you are getting a quote for just £450 i would be asking questions about the quality of product/work. IMHO of course.

Or maybe i just got knocked who knows

Try API they're not that far from W. Mid. Quality of parts and workmanship is excellent.

Shouldn't make much difference. A decent AP clutch is about £350 for plate & cover.

Thumbs up

Last Subaru clutch i had done was on a legacy 2.2 GX - bought AP clutch from local motor spares specialist (trade prices) for £145 + vat (they were very appologetic about the price ) and a local garage (who had done a calibra 4x4 - in 3 days ) - quoted 2 days labour totalling £180! - seemed like a good deal overall - thought I may as well get the timing belt done at the same time when engine was out - extra £20... (Labour, belt at £70 from subaru dealer...)

Hope this helps

Mick
