2006 FACELIFT
Just to add to all the speculative Photoshop "Revelations" 
I had an Email today from what has been in the Past a fairly reliable source
but not always 100% acurate
1) The new Facelift will be going around the "Ring" either this or next week but disguised. so usaul Autocar spy shots will be availabe
2) The Facelift 2.0ltr will be unvailled June 13-17th at Canary Warf.
3) The 2.5ltr version out in autumm. The UK/EU's will follow 3-4 months later.

The FREE PPP Offer runs out at the end of July ...... hopefully we'll get a look before then - it will help decide whether its a winner or not and if the last of the Blob-Eyes will be 'the one to have' ... just like the last of the Classics, the MY00.

Slightly off Topic
My source reckons the New 2007 Car won't be called an Impreza and Subaru are down to a short list of Three Names for the new Model.
1) TOKEN or TOKKAN (sp)
2) ELECTRA
3) TAMA

seems to be the latest craze with all the makers
btw whats the chances of a very ltd edition impreza with 400hp. just to show mitsu, that they can make powerful engines too

) the new hatchback will likely take over wrc duties allowing the Impreza to 'grow' without WRC homologation restrictions.

Hi, I'm new to this, having just joined. I have had a Forester Sport for the last nearly three years. I am about to trade it in for an Impreza with the free PPP but now do not know whether to wait for the face lifted model in 2006. What does anyone else think?

The Facelift JDM model will be available June/July 2005 and UK Sept2005

For the lazy:
IMHO the new headlights look OK, but what's with the beaky little snout in the middle? Cover that up and the first pic looks a lot better, whilst at the back, the new rear lights look like they've been fiddling for the sake of fiddling.
I'm not sad I bought an '05...
