hi i have a 93 wrx impreza can any one tell me if it is normal for boost pressure to vary in different gears im getting around 1bar in first gear about 1.1 in 2nd 3rd 4th and about 1.2 bar in fith thanks neil5536

it has had a re map but should it not boost the same in every gear?

I totally mis-read your first post 
To answer your question, No - your car will hold higher boost in the higher gears. Your engine has to be "worked" to build boost. 1st and 2nd will not work the engine hard enough to build boost

thanks mate the car does seem a lot faster with the re map done
