Guess What I did.........
MY05 STI PPP - I got 28.26 mile to the gallon yesterday, 305 miles from full tank to just above the line on "Empty" took 49 Ltrs to fill her back up, so could have squeezed a few more miles out of it. This was done in two trips up and down the country yesterday so was mostly motorway and had some stop start traffic for 30 mins or so a couple of times and a bit of round town at one end of the journey.
Must say it was a boring drive, but I was adament that I was going to see what I could get with light to average driving. Never used more than half throttle and stayed below 5k RPM stayed at the speed limit (ish). Really pleased with that, not that it matters, just had the opportunity to satisfy my curiosity and took it. Would rather have ragged it all the way and done 2 tanks.

No labs, but I've got two cats and I work in IT. Oh, and I'm in my mid-30s and I earn shed loads
