If you want specific P1 advice then get over to http://www.p1woc.co.uk as it's the P1 owners forum, we're a friendly bunch over there.

As Mr freeze has said, that's a known issue with Sigma alarms used in Subarus, not just P1's. The alarms use the same frequency band as (I think) the Police Tetra radio system, the dealers will be able to sort out getting it shielded. Some people managed to get this done under warranty but I wouldn't get your hopes up as most have had to pay for it themselves.

Yeah, you don't get trolling tw@ts like pslewis for starters.

The signal/noise ration is much better over there.

Its not just the P1's that had the problem with the alarms, my old MY00 uk turbo used to play up, when ever I was in a built up area i could not get the bloody immobliser off, and had to push the car forwards just so it would activate, Remember 1 time I was at Silverstone and my car alarm would not deactivate and I couldnt get the immobliser off, I had to push my car out of the front gates at Silverstone and made myself look a right prat, everybody driving past shouting "get a decent car".
