Depends so much on other mods, boost level, if the ecu is remapped to take advantage of it etc etc etc etc etc.

If you just fit it and do nothing else then it probably won't give much power increase but will provide a big safety factor to the level of tune you have by decreasing the intake charge temps. So less chance of det.

You will prolly see a slight increase in power as the boost will be slightly higher than before due to the lower pressure drop across the core plus the inlet temperature will be lower resulting in a denser charge. Also you will notice that you don't get the heatsoak flatness associated with TMIC's after sitting in traffic for long periods.
The main benefit will be that it will give you much more scope for modifications in the future

Cheers

Standard ecu? What year of car and are you using the standard injectors?

Thats going to limit things... the injectors in a MY98 are 380s so i wouldn't be confident of going over 300bhp. What boost are you running?

at the min running low boost just about 13 psi, but all these parts are not on yet as i have just had brand new engine put in it 200o miles ago and dont want to chance it just yet but b4 it was running 15 psi that was without boost controller and turbo pipe and fuel pump, so iwas wondering what sort of power with all the mods on including fmic.

Considering the standard ecu and moderate boost level (if you stick to say 1.1bar) then i'd guess at anything from 270-290bhp......

But if you change the injectors and ecu, then with what you have you could see 320-340bhp.

So many variables tho that guessing at a power figure is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.
