Question 75K Service - What's the damage ??

Is this the one where they change the cambelt. ?

MY99 Classic Turbo.

Can anyone tell me how much they were charged and if they had any extra work required in addition to the jobs listed in the service schedule?

75K to change the cambelt??

My MY99 (July 99) has cambelt change at 45k and 90k - and the 90k is just about due as its the 6 year service.

Fluid change is 30k, 60k, 90k, so 90k is the very big one - about £500-£600 or so from a dealer.

Jon.

Ignore me - being a ball and bat. Mixed up the km and mls rows - Phew
Still, there is nothing detailed for services after 60k mls

the time since last cambelt change is just as important as the mileage- needs to be changed every 3 years even if youve only covered 17000 miles in that time like me. had mine changed at a small subaru garage for £187.

Question

Nice one MY93, Thanks.

Have read the info and was interested in the bit about service intervals changing from 7,500 to 10,000 then to 15,000 miles.

I am confused now. My service book shows service interval of 7,500 miles
(MY99) so I assume that the service interval changed after 1999.

Do new Scoobies have 15K service ints ?
