How annoying Is This..........
My brand new 05 plate WRX, only 6 weeks old and some c**t has driven into it on the car park at work resulting in this ..............
And driven off without leaving any details
Now I am left with the f**kin repair bill because some dozy ar*ehole can't park a car properly
I think we have CCTV on the car park at work, going to check with security tomorrow monring and see what comes up, hope I find who it is
So mad at the moment
Mark

Really feel for you, some barsteward damaged my car causing me to have the rear bumper re sprayed, happened in car park at the back of my office. I cant believe people can drive away from an incident.
Obviously wasnt as upsetting for me as my car is older and the bumper had a couple of chips already. Hope you caught the ****, (excuse my French) on cctv.

Mark check that CCTV had the same thing happen to me last year.Had a look on the cameras at work and caught the barsteward red handed. Traced the guy, rung him and at first he denied it !!!. Invited him down, played him a little film and he sat there very sheepish. The guy had no where to go !!. Paid for the repair and i managed to get another small job done (at his expence) without him knowing. Made me feel much better.

Update !!
Been to see the security on site this morning and our CCTV only protects the perimeter and entrances and exits, and unfortunately I wasn't parked near enough to one of the cameras for it to pick anything up
Looks like i will have to foot the bill for the repair now
Mind I did see a blue Rover two spaces away from where I parked yesterday with what looked like silver paint on its front bumper !!
But I am not 100% sure its silver, need to get somone who isn't colour blind to take a look !!

Call the police out to have a look. Tell him you have taken a sample of the paint from the scratch on HIS car and are getting it matched to the paint on yours. Blag it.
It worked for me once when I helped out a friend.....funnily enough that was also a Rover that had driven into the side of their car.
Oh make sure you tell him that the sample you took was hanging off his car. You do not want him to be able to claim that you damaged his car when taking the sample.......not that you even took one of course

Definately worth a try and get the pratt to pay for his mistakes. Try and blagg it as much as can, independant witness ??
Unfortunely car park scrapes happens all to often and the more people dont tackle these problems the more it continues with people driving off.
OK I'm still annoyed at the car that hit mine while it was parked, resulting in a a £800 repair for new door skin and repairs to the sill.

Sorry for you, really annoying. Happened to me more than once. Even more irritating when they leave a blank bit of paper when their witnessed doing it. Lets hope its not the MD's car!

Update....
Got one of the lads from our prototype workshop to look at the car at lunch time,
some good news and some bad !!
It wasn't that rover that hit it, wrong colour paint on his bumper and too low down to have caused the damage to mine
How ever he reckons the wing should knock out and not leave any damage
just need to find a decent place to do it now.
Looks like any hope of tracing the car has gone though now, so the c**t has got away with it
Mark.

Sorry to hear about this mate, I'm not surprised you were so angry, it's the typical 'ain't my problem' attitude in this case it would seem
Shame you couldn't find that tw*t that did it, at least you still have the happy warm feeling of knowing you have the best car in the car park, dented or not

Hello
Had my car keyed in the work car park last year... two lines of scratches and an interesting pattern down the whole side Had security pull the CCTV footage but the camera only captured the front corner of the car. Quoted £800 to have it fixed
Sorry to hear about your car, hopefully you can either find the other driver or get it fixed cheap!

Another Update !!!
Poped round to the dealers where I brought the Scoob on the way home tonight to see how much they would quote or reccommend a decent bodyshop locally.
Got quoted £705.92
They said it was best to have a new wing as the car was so new instead of filling it, reckon they could make as good as the day I picked it up.
I suppose the only other option is through my insurance, think my excess is £450, I have PNCD so how would I be affected in the comming years ??
I cant believe that some other mindless c**ts actions could cost me £450 - £705
Really makes me very mad just thinking about it
